The School of Industrial Organization (EOI) will give a course in the Basque country on “The creation of Innovative Businesses”. The course will be financed by SPRI, the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Business and the European Social Fund (FSE).
Objectives:
• To promote the creation of new businesses, and to support those already established that need a change of direction. This will be achieved through business management training and supervision of each individual business project.
• To encourage the creation of new businesses and jobs for their own sake.
• To transform dreams and ideas into viable business plans.
• To impart a basic level of theoretical knowledge of the different functional areas of a business.
Metodology:
• A combination of training sessions and tutorials which will take place both on-site and through the internet in a “virtual classroom”.
• At the end of the course, each candidate will present their business plan.
Target audience:
• Entrepreneurs who wish to get their innovations off the ground.
• Businesses that wish to become more diverse, or expand to new areas.
• People who wish to explore new career paths.
