Good weather for the 2013 Potato Festival in Valdegovía, Bóveda.

It seems that after days of persistant rain we are going to have some excellent Sunny days to come. We hope that the 17th February will be 14 degrees. So we encourage you all to go to Bóveda and enjoy the day and the atmosphere.



The XXI edition of the the Valdegovia´s potato festival will take place in the local area of Bóveda on the 17th February 2013.



In the festival we will have at disposal to the public some 20.000kg of potatoes of different varieties including Kennebec and Spunta, mainly of great quality produced in Valdegovía by local farmers. We will present 25kg sacks at a price of 10 euros a sack.



Another noteworthy event is our long awaited CRAFT FAIR with 80 stalls.


FARMER´S MARKET in which farmers from Valdegovía will present their products from the regions of Valdegoviá and Añana who will sell their craft produce as well as a variety of cheeses, breads, honey, beans and a lot more!



To liven up the festival we will allow the Salinas band to create an enjoyable atmosphere of the streets.



For the little ones we will have bouncy castles and infant workshops and if the weather is one our side children can go on a hot air baloon ride.



The potatoes will be tasted with txitxikis and a portion will cost 1€ with wine (pintxopote).
