La Casa Torre de los Varona; medieval Castilian in the film

Valdegovía had been the setting for a beautiful Mexican film. This time the Casa Torre de los Varona has turned the atmosphere of a love story that overcomes a medieval past through the main characters of the film.



Regresa, a film directed by Alejandro González Padilla, is simply enchanting. Based on a love story, this film portrays a couple who become distant little by little, without even realising, through Ernesto Del Valle, a workaholic businessman played by actor Jaime Camil. His depressed wife, played by model Blanca Soto, decides to follow the advice of her friends and enter a session of hypnosis of which she undergoes regression and cannot escape, waking up with the mind of a princess from the kingdom of Navarra in the 15th century. It’s only when he loses her that he begins to realise what he wants; a wife that loves him and will give everything for him.
